Digital Technologies and Climate Action in Early Childhood
The 4th and final webinar in our Research Series
Exploring Perspectives with Children in Different Environments: Insights from the EACH Project
Presented by Emilia Frasunkiewicz and Julia Grzywińska
PhD Students, University of Gdańsk
Summary
EACH – Early Childhood and Sustainable Citizenship Routes in the Digital Era – is an Erasmus+ funded project exploring innovative approaches to early childhood education, with a focus on sustainability, critical and creative thinking, and digital citizenship. Montessori Europe is an associated partner.
In this webinar, Emilia Frasunkiewicz and Julia Grzywińska will share examples of how children explored different ways of seeing and understanding their surroundings. Through activities including photography, mapping, drawing, storytelling and imaginative exploration, children were encouraged to shift perspectives, question assumptions and express their own interpretations.
The session will consider how educators can create learning environments that encourage curiosity, perspective-taking and new ways of understanding the world.
